| Prowler Fisheries offers excellent job opportunities to hard working individuals who don’t mind the long hours and harsh conditions that are the norm in the waters off Alaska. Prowler vessels work 24 hours a day in some of the most severe weather conditions in the world. The vessels fish offshore and only come into port once a month. The brief port visits are to offload product and re-supply. Prowler vessels generally fish from the beginning of January to the end of March and the middle of August to the end of October. Living conditions on the vessels are crowded and work conditions are cold and wet. |
